Simple installation at maximum compatibility
Thanks to the very flat PLPlano measuring module (less than 5 mm additional headroom required compared to conventional devices), TOKEO smartgrid fits into almost any low-voltage distribution board.
Fastest preparation for reliable cable fault localization
The measuring module can be easily galvanically isolated (it is simply pulled out a little and locks into a safe parking position), allowing voltage pulses of up to 5 kV to be applied directly to the connected cables without jeopardizing the sensitive measuring electronics.
Replace or refit the measuring modules on the fly
The PLPlano modules are not only removed easily – they are just as easy to attach. And both is possible during operation without disconnection of loads. This makes it simple and fast to replace our measuring modules at a later date – for example to convert the bus.
Top speed with your data bus
The PLPlano modules exchange data with their gateway via either Modbus or our CANopen-based JM-Bus for very fast communication. But also the physical cabling (thanks to pre-assembled USB-C patch cords) as well as the logical commissioning (thanks to automatic addressing) are completed in record time.
Maximum safety for maintenance staff
The parallel-guided switching mechanism disconnects the fuse link on both sides almost simultaneously, thus halving the arc voltage. In addition, the integrated touch-protection of the cover prevents accidental contact with live parts (IP1X).
No loose ends
It is not necessary to short-circuit the current transformers, even with isolated or removed measurement electronics. Thanks to the innovative interface, the transducers are permanently grounded so that open operation with dangerous contact voltages is ruled out.
