customized solutions

With innovative, fused switchgear, sophisticated enclosure technology, and integrated energy data collection, we deliver robust, flexible, and future-proof cabinet system solutions. Our customers benefit not only from high-quality components but also from technical consulting, project support, and a deep understanding of the requirements of modern energy systems.

Our solutions combine decades of experience, standards-compliant design, and practical engineering. JEAN MÜLLER’s ready-to-connect distribution solutions include, among others:

  • AC busbar cabinets for the efficient distribution of solar energy
  • Instrument transformer cabinets and meter connection columns for secure grid connection and precise measurement
  • Current transformer cabinets for connecting generation systems in accordance with AR 4105 & AR 4110
  • Distribution cabinets for e-mobility
  • Low-voltage distribution systems for safe energy distribution in modern grids

AC Combiner Cabinets

Our ready-to-connect AC busbar cabinets bundle the alternating current from the inverters of photovoltaic systems and safely route it to the transfer station.
They also serve as a suitable complement to our current transformer cabinets compliant with VDE-AR-N 4105 or VDE-AR-N 4110. They are specifically designed to meet the requirements of commercial PV systems and solar farms.

The AC collection cabinets are equipped with busbars and NH fuse switch strips for protection and as a safe and visible isolation point; they can also be optionally equipped with surge protection.
Our robust enclosure design ensures reliable and standards-compliant operation—even as power requirements increase in the wake of the energy transition.

Cable connection boxes and current transformer cabinets

Our outdoor meter connection and current transformer cabinets serve as the reliable transfer point between the distribution network operator and the customer in the low-voltage grid.
They are used in particular where there is insufficient space inside the building for the grid connection, and enable a safe and code-compliant transfer of energy.

Our cabinet solutions are typically designed and manufactured to be application-specific and project-based. In doing so, we always take into account the Technical Connection Rules of VDE-AR-N as well as the Technical Connection Conditions (TAB) of the respective energy supplier.
This ensures that each design is precisely tailored to your needs and the respective grid connection requirements, and guarantees reliable, durable, and seamless integration into the low-voltage grid.

Transformer cabinets for power generation plants in accordance with VDE-AR-N 4105 or VDE-AR-N 4110

JEAN MÜLLER’s current transformer cabinets are specifically designed for use in photovoltaic and energy storage systems and reliably meet the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4105 and VDE-AR-N 4110, as well as the technical connection specifications of the respective distribution system operators. In addition to integrating grid and system protection, all necessary measurement, protection, and control devices can be incorporated in compliance with standards, including coupling switches for automatic grid disconnection.

As pre-assembled or ready-to-connect system solutions, the current transformer cabinets offer a high degree of planning and installation reliability. The high level of in-house manufacturing and the modular design of our solutions enable flexible and cost-effective grid-feeding concepts, even for complex system structures.

Distribution Cabinets for E-Mobility

The rise of electric mobility requires intelligent, scalable, and secure solutions for power distribution. JEAN MÜLLER develops and manufactures custom-designed, ready-to-connect distribution cabinets for e-mobility applications that are optimally tailored to the respective charging infrastructure and grid conditions.

A key focus of our solutions is on meter and current transformer cabinets designed for connecting 11–22 kW charging points as well as high-power chargers.
Depending on the charging hardware used, our distribution cabinets can be equipped with metering, protection, and control devices. This is relevant, for example, for wallboxes that do not have their own protective devices as required by standards.
In this way, we ensure that both personal and equipment safety are guaranteed at all times—even in demanding e-mobility applications. This makes our solutions ideal for multi-wallbox installations, charging infrastructure in residential and commercial properties, and public applications.

Low-Voltage Distribution Systems

Our ready-to-connect low-voltage switchgear systems, compliant with DIN EN 61439 (Part 2 or Part 5), are designed for use in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical energy and can handle voltages up to 1,000 V AC or 1,500 V DC.
They are suitable for local distribution substations as well as industrial customer substations—including, for example, use in photovoltaic systems—and can be powered directly from the transformer, with capacities up to 1,250 kVA at 400 V or 2,500 kVA at 800 V.

Depending on requirements, both open designs with a mounting plate for walk-in or compact substations and enclosed designs with enhanced protection against accidental contact for walk-in substations are available. This allows our solutions to be optimally adapted to the respective technical and infrastructural conditions.
