JEAN MÜLLER GROWS IN INDIA
(Chennai/Eltville, March 2024) JEAN MÜLLER INDIA opens local production line to supply utility growth markets of India and the Middle East.
JEAN MÜLLER INDIA was founded as a sales subsidiary back in 2015 and has been serving the Indian market with components for low-voltage distribution ever since. Now, the sales office was expanded to include a production line in order to better meet the requirements of the local energy supply market.
“The potential of the Indian growth market in the utility sector led to the strategic decision to set up a local production line for fuse-switch disconnectors,” explains Heinz Saure, Managing Director of JEAN MÜLLER. “This will primarily cover the needs of the Indian and Middle Eastern markets. Orders for the European market will continue to be manufactured in Europe.”
In March 2024, JEAN MÜLLER INDIA celebrated the official inauguration of its new production line in Chennai, India.
“The production line has the capacity to manufacture a minimum of 160 000 fuse-switch disconnectors per year in the future,” says Narayanan Sudarsan, Managing Director of JEAN MÜLLER INDIA.
The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of the Chairman of the JEAN MÜLLER Foundation Board, Mr. Michael Stadler, the Managing Director Heinz Saure, as well as representatives of the local utility boards.
