New Product: JEAN MÜLLER launches TOKEO smartgrid
New fuse switch disconnector TOKEO smartgrid from JEAN MÜLLER helps the power utility industry with the energy transition
The requirements of the energy transition (e.g. §14a of German Energy Act) demand the integration of measurement technology in local network stations, low-voltage distributions and soon also in distribution cabinets. With the new TOKEO smartgrid NH fuse switch disconnector, JEAN MÜLLER now offers a device that not only meets all conventional requirements of switching and protection technology, but in combination with the measuring module PLPlano also records all relevant grid parameters in real time and transmits it to higher-level control systems via a bus system. Thanks to the extremely flat design of the measuring module, only approx. 10 mm of additional space is required above the disconnector. The bus installation is handy and quick by simply daisy-chaining USB-C patch cords at the front of the modules. The modules themselves can be moved into an electrically isolated parking position for applying 5kV pulses during cable fault localization. The TOKEO smartgrid disconnector also impresses with its intuitive operability: both the parallel-guided fuse links and the integrated touch-protection ensure a high level of operator safety. An individual digital type label called JM-DTL-Code® enables direct access to the entire product documentation via the free app JMExpert.
In addition to the fully equipped version comprising the integrated current transformers and measuring module, TOKEO smartgrid is also available without measurement technology. This allows for cost-efficient switching of less critical loads without sacrificing the intuitive and safe operating concept of TOKEO smartgrid.
This new fuse switch disconnector is available in sizes NH2 and NH3 from beginning of 2025.
